Now Casting: ‘American Crime Story’ Needs Actors to Portray Law Enforcement Officials + 3 More

Join the next part of Ryan Murphy’s “American Crime Story” anthology. Coming off the heels of the series’ hit “The People v. O. J. Simpson,” the second season’s “The Assassination of Gianni Versace,” starring Edgar Ramirez and Penelope Cruz, is currently seeking actors to portray members of law enforcement. There are also background roles available on NBC’s “Chicago Fire” and FX’s “Atlanta,” as well as a lead role in a commercial shooting in Los Angeles.

Casting is now underway for the second season of FX’s “American Crime Story,” focused this time on the 1997 assassination of fashion designer Gianni Versace. Male and female talent, aged 21–25, are sought to portray police, S.W.A.T. team, and FBI members in background roles. The production will shoot Nov. 15–16 in Miami, Florida. FX’s “Atlanta,” the Emmy Award-winning series created by Donald Glover, is currently seeking young Asian talent, aged 11–18, to portray high school students in background roles. The shoot will take place on Nov. 14 in Atlanta, Georgia. Pay is $120 for eight hours of work. Apply here!

NBC’s “Chicago Fire,” a primetime drama following the professional and personal lives of Chicago firefighters, is continuing its search for background actors. Talent, aged 18 and older, are wanted to portray administrative and blue-collar workers, deputies, and more. The production will shoot Nov. 10–20 in Chicago, Illinois. Casting is currently underway for “Masterpiece,” a commercial for a restaurant-finding app. A comedic, experienced actor, aged 35 and older, is wanted to play an art professor. The script will feature simple one-liner dialogue and will be shot at a single interior location. “Masterpiece” will shoot Nov. 19 or 26 in Los Angeles. Pay is $150. Apply here!
