Casting is underway for “World’s #1 Grandson,” a sweet-but-dark comedy intended for a festival run about a young boy whose grandmother casually tells him to mercy-kill her if she ever gets dementia. Actors, aged 9–80, are wanted for the lead characters Jupiter (both younger and older versions) and his grandmother, Ronnie. Talent will work this fall in Los Angeles.
