Now Casting: The New Apple TV+ Series ‘Brass Tactics’ Needs Background Talent + 3 More Gigs

We’re taking it back 20 years with today’s casting roundup. The new Apple TV drama “Brass Tactics” is looking for New Yorkers to play background roles. Plus, a Hawaii hotel shoot, a film adapted from a Eugene O’Neill play, and a black comedy are casting now. 

Apple TV+’s “Brass Tactics” (Vaccinated Zone A Production)

Roman Candle Casting is seeking talent for “Brass Tactics,” a new drama from Apple TV+ set in the year 2002. Talent, aged 18–45, is wanted to portray trendy New York City types, including punks, music geeks, and more. Talent must be available in April for filming in NYC. Pay is $165–$180 per eight hours of work.

Destination Films

Away Lands is seeking four models of color, aged 25–38, for a destination photo and video shoot for the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua in Maui, Hawaii. Talent will work on March 11–16 in Maui. Pay is $1,000, with all expenses paid, including travel, room, and a daily food stipend for four days of work.

“The Hairy Ape”

All The Way Around Productions is seeking talent for “The Hairy Ape,” a new film adapted from Eugene O’Neill’s classic play of the same name. Talent, aged 7–65, is currently wanted for several roles, including the starring role of Wayne, a factory worker with an important decision to make. Filming will take place at the end of May in Wisconsin. Pay is $211 per day.

“Bad People, Dirty Water”

Join the cast of “Bad People, Dirty Water,” a black comedy about terrible people in ever-worsening situations. Talent, aged 18 and older, is wanted for several day player and background roles in the film, including casino patrons, dejected rejects, groupies, and more. Filming will take place in Las Vegas; dates are TBD. Pay is $150–$200 per day.
