No more waiting ’cause this is your time: Tony Award-winning musical “Tootsie” is casting singers and dancers for replacements on Broadway! Plus, a short student film is seeking its star, a dark TV pilot spec has two major roles available, and an indie short is looking to fill a supporting role. 

“TOOTSIE,” B’WAY ECC
The Tony Award-winning musical “Tootsie” is casting Equity singers and dancers for ensemble replacements in the currently running Broadway production. Talent, aged 18–49, is wanted. Equity Chorus Calls will be held on Oct. 28–29 in New York City. Pay is $2,095 per week. Apply here!

“SOLOMON”
Lead the cast of “Solomon,” a student short film from ArtCenter College of Design. A white autistic actor, aged 18–22, is wanted to play the eponymous Solomon, a teenager who must face his fears in order to save his precious action figure. Talent must be able to ride a bicycle. Filming will take place on Oct. 27 in Pasadena, Burbank, and Montrose, California. Pay is $125 per day with food and copy provided. Apply here!

“MATCHMAKER”
Join the cast of “Matchmaker,” a pilot spec about a young woman who returns to take over the family business after the death of her father and discovers their sober living facilities are harvesting organs on the black market. Two actors, aged 21–35, are wanted to play lead and supporting roles. Rehearsals will take place in January 2020 followed by filming in mid-February in Los Angeles, California. A male actor, aged 30–50, is wanted to play a supporting role in “Where Are You From Again,” an independent short film about a Romanian actress trying to find success in New York.
