Now Casting: Background on BET’s ‘Being Mary Jane’ + More

In today’s casting roundup, NYC’s hit theater experience “Sleep No More” is holding an open casting call, a tequila commercial paying $450/day is casting background, plus other great paying gigs for talent of all sorts!

BET’s “Being Mary Jane,” starring Gabrielle Union, is casting background for upcoming shoots. Seeking male and female talent ages 18–70, production is ongoing through May in Atlanta, Georgia. Hired actors will be paid $75/eight hours.

“Sleep No More,” the immersive theatrical hit, will hold an open casting call in New York City on March 21 and 22. Seeking male and female dancers ages 20 and up with at least three years of professional dance experience, performances will begin July 5.

Casting is underway for a recreation shoot for a new true crime series. Seeking talent for lead and supporting roles including the cheerleader, the boyfriend, and more, shooting is tentatively slated for March 15 and 16 in New York City. Hired talent will be paid $155/day.

Nope, this isn’t too good to be true! Background talent is sought for an upcoming tequila commercial, shooting March 2 and 3 in Miami, Florida. Seeking male and female actors ages 30–45 to portray “trendy, young-looking people,” the gig will pay $450/day.
