“CAPTIVE STATE”
Join “Captive State,” a Focus Features film starring Vera Farmiga and John Goodman. The film will focus on a Chicago neighborhood a decade after the occupation by an extraterrestrial force and the lives on both sides of the conflict. Male and female talent, aged 18 and older, are currently sought for background roles. The production will shoot Sept. 10 or 11 in Chicago, Illinois. Some pay will be provided. Apply here!
“MEMORIES OF MY FATHER”
Casting is underway for “Memories of My Father,” an upcoming short film that follows “Julia, a woman who discovers a way to bring her father's memories back before he dies of dementia.” Male and female talent, aged 37–75, are currently needed to fill three lead roles, including the lead role of Henry, Julia’s father. The film will rehearse and shoot this fall (scheduled for November) in Los Angeles. Pay is $125 per day. Apply here!
JACK DANIEL’S GENERAL STORE
Show off some Southern charm and be a part of a unique retail experience at Jack Daniel’s General Store. Actors, comedians, and models are sought to portray “staff” at the store to engage with guests and bring the store to life “for a charming, down-home, southern experience.” There is currently a lead role available for a male actor, aged 25–45, to portray the store manager, as well as a supporting role for a male or female actor, aged 21–35, as a music fan (tattoos and musical ability are a plus). There are auditions by appointment on Sept. 5 in NYC and Austin, Texas. Store opening runs Oct. 8–14. Pay is $2100, plus a $450 per diem, travel, and accommodation provided. Apply here!

A male R&B singer, aged 18–45, is currently needed for a high-end wedding band. Shooting for a promo video begins ASAP in NYC. Promo video shoot is unpaid, but the four-hour wedding pays $600. Apply here!
