“NASHVILLE”
Country music drama “Nashville,” starring Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere, seeks background for an upcoming birthday party scene. The production seeks both children ages 5–9 and adults ages 25–39 to depict party attendees, in a scene slated to shoot Jan. 20 in Nashville, Tennessee. Those hired will be paid $64/eight hours.
“ORIGIN”
“Origin,” a series of short films which will explore “themes of artificial intelligence and futurism,” is casting one male actor aged 21–32 for a leading role, and another male actor aged 18–36 for a supporting part. Auditions will be held by appointment Feb. 4 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with rehearsals set to begin mid or end of February, also in the Ann Arbor area. Talent will be compensated at least $100/day.
“THE DWARVES OF DEMREL”
Casting is underway for the leading role in “The Dwarves of Demrel,” an action-fantasy flick depicting “three dwarven miners who must work collectively to combat starvation, despair, and a mysterious creature.” The project seeks a female aged 30–50 to depict the ruthless Drusso. Shooting dates are tentatively set for the next 25 days in Los Angeles. Adhering to a SAG-AFTRA Ultra Low Budget Agreement, pay is set at $125/day.
