Happy Monday, actors! It’s a fresh week, spring is here, and you are ready to book a new gig. Below, we have four opportunities to help get you started, including the iconic Blue Man Group, two short films, and more paying jobs!
BLUE MAN GROUP
Blue Man Group will hold auditions in Los Angeles for performers to join its troupe for shows spanning the country including Las Vegas, Boston, Orlando, and more. The team is casting male and female performers ages 18–45 and states that “strong candidates frequently have backgrounds in physical theater and improvisation and are compelling and genuine nonverbal storytellers.” Hired talent will be paid $1,000/week and can be either union or nonunion.
“CHANGE OF HEART”
Casting is underway for a lead and two supporting roles in “Change of Heart,” a short film depicting “two women torn apart too soon.” Auditions will be held in San Francisco, California April 23, with shooting slated for either June 3 and 4 or 10 and 11. Pay will be $100/day.
L.A. BEACH SHORT FILM
A 20-minute short film about a group of friends in Santa Monica, California is casting for its two leading roles. Seeking a male actor aged 18–28 and a female actor aged 17–25, the project will shoot May 10–28 in Los Angeles. Compensation will be $140/day.
KARS 4 KIDS INFOMERCIAL
Talent is needed for five leading roles in an upcoming Kars 4 Kids infomercial. The spot, set in a grocery store, will hold by-appointment auditions in Jersey City, New Jersey on April 27. Shooting is set for May 9 or 10, also in New Jersey, and will pay $100 for the day in addition to travel compensation.
