Now Casting: Off-Broadway ‘Clueless’ Musical Is Filling All Major Roles + 3 More Gigs

Not applying for one of today’s top gigs? As if! The upcoming Off-Broadway musical adaptation of “Clueless” is now casting all major roles, including Cher and Dionne. Plus, an ID Discovery true-crime recreation series is casting its next episode, the CW TV series “Black Lightning” is filling a background role, and a road trip thriller is seeking leads and more.

Equity actors and singers are currently wanted for the upcoming musical adaptation of “Clueless.” Talent, aged 18 and older, is wanted to play Cher, Dionne, Murray, and more in the production. There will be an Equity Principal audition on July 16 in New York City. Rehearsals will start on or around Oct. 15 with a first preview on or about Nov. 20 and closing Jan. 13, 2019 in NYC. ID Discovery is casting its next episode for its true-crime recreation show “Shattered.” Talent, aged 18–60, is wanted for multiple lead and supporting roles in the production, including the lead role of Ian. Some roles require specific physical attributes. The episode shoots the week of July 9 in New Jersey. Pay is $65 per half day or $182 per full day, depending on the role. Apply here!

“By Light of Desert Night,” a road trip thriller, is filling up its cast. Talent, aged 21 and older, is wanted for several roles in the production, including the lead roles of April, Suzy, and Beth.
