Now Casting: CBS’s ‘The Inspectors’ is in Search of Stylish Actors + More

In today’s casting roundup, CBS’s “The Inspectors” is seeking stylish men and women to portray models and fashionistas in its upcoming season. There are also roles available on CMT’s hit series “Nashville," as well as an episode of a series about evil women, and a 10-episode YouTube Red sequel to “The Karate Kid!”

CBS’s “The Inspectors,” a primetime crime drama following Amanda Wainwright (played by Jessica Lundy), “a single-mom US Postal Inspector who investigates and solves crimes dealing with consumer fraud, the internet, and US Mail,” is currently casting background roles. A male actor, aged 18–40, is wanted to portray a male model (a unique hairstyle or man bun is preferred). There are also roles available for female talent, aged 18–35, clothing size 4 or smaller, to portray stylish women. All talent must be able to provide their own high fashion wardrobe and shoes. The CMT hit series “Nashville” is now casting for its upcoming season. A male actor, aged 30–39, is wanted to play the role of Jonah’s bodyguard. Talent should be 5’10”–6’3” with a bigger body build and be able to portray confidence “as if you’re part of a famous pop stars’ posse but also strong/tough enough to portray a security figure.” The production will shoot Oct. 3 in Nashville, Tennessee. Casting is underway for “Cobra Kai,” a 10-episode YouTube Red series starring Ralph Macchio and William Zabka in a sequel to “The Karate Kid” that will take place 30 years after the events of the All Valley Karate Tournament. Male and female talent, aged 18–55, are wanted to portray a wide variety of high school students, real skateboarders, military types, and more in background roles. There are also roles available for young talent, aged 9–16, as extras. The production will shoot Oct. 4–18 in Atlanta, Georgia. Some pay will be provided. Apply here!

Casting is now underway for Episode 303 of “Evil Stepmothers,” a show involving “real-life evil women intent on making their families’ lives a living hell.” There are several roles available for male and female talent, aged 25–75, including the lead roles of Leah and Ejza. There are also two supporting roles available for young male talent, aged 12–13. The episode will shoot the week of Oct. 16 in the Silver Springs, Maryland area.
