Join the cast of “Jump The Gun,” a dramatic dark comedy student short film about a college student who, following the death of his father, inherits a handgun, an object that forces him to confront adulthood, masculinity, and responsibility. New York City-based talent, aged 18–27, is wanted for several roles, including the lead role of Marcus. Filming is scheduled for March in the NYC area. Pay is $100 per day for up to four days of work with travel to/from locations provided or compensated.

“How to Boil Water,” a one-act play presented by The Chain Theatre for The Chain Winter 2026 One-Act Festival, is currently casting three actors, aged 18 and older, for principal roles. Rehearsals will take place from Jan. 12 to Feb. 25, followed by tech on Feb. 6 and performances on three dates between Feb. 7 and 25. Pay is $100 for the first week of rehearsals and a 20% box office split following the show’s completion.
