Discovery Channel Historical Reenactment Scenes, Child Actors

Child actors (aged 18 or younger) based in Pasadena, California, are wanted for historical reenactment scenes for Discovery Channel. Filming will take place on Nov. 21–22 in Simi Valley. Pay is undisclosed by the production, but talent will be paid a full-day rate.

“Lake House”

Practical Films is currently casting “Lake House,” a low-budget sapphic indie feature about two women who can’t bring themselves to admit how they feel. Three actors, aged 22–35, are wanted for lead and supporting roles. Rehearsals will take place in late December and early January, followed by filming throughout January and February in New York City. Pay is $25 per day for rehearsal and $100 per day for filming with all meals provided.

“A Lasting Place”

Join the cast of “A Lasting Place,” a UCLA graduate student film project about a failed painter who gets trapped in the urn of his father where he must confront previous versions of himself and the traumatic cycle of abuse that pushed him to this moment. Actors, aged 6 and older, are wanted for various roles, including the protagonist Fallen at various ages. Filming will take place on Jan. 23–26 in Los Angeles. Pay is $100–$125 per day.
