Casting is underway for the upcoming Broadway musical “Dolly: A True Original Musical,” a biomusical about and co-written by Dolly Parton. Equity actors, aged 10–49, are sought for principal and ensemble roles, including Dolly at three stages of her life. Equity chorus calls will be held on July 21 (singers) and 24 (dancers), and principal auditions will be held on July 22–23. Rehearsals will begin on Oct. 12, followed by performances beginning Dec. 7 at the St. James Theatre in New York City. Pay is $2,799 per week.
