“WATCHERS”
Join the cast of “Watchers,” a new series about a group of Chinese special forces who are caught in a civil war while protecting Chinese-African joint real estate ventures in East Africa. A female actor, aged 18–30, is wanted to play the lead role of Ava, the little sister of an East African rebel leader. There are also two supporting roles available for male actors, aged 21–42. The series will shoot July 1 through late December in locations including China, Morocco, and Madagascar. Pay is $3,000–$12,000, depending on the role, with flights, hotel, and meals provided. “CHAMBER PIECE”
“Chamber Piece,” an original movie musical about “an Off-Broadway flop that races to finish its cast recording as its harried producer harangues the recording studio for more time,” is casting several roles. Talent, aged 20–65, is sought to play several lead and supporting roles, including The Major, the producer of the show. Singing, dancing, and instrument playing are required for multiple roles. “THE FALLEN,” SAG-AFTRA NEW MEDIA PROJECT
Join the cast of “The Fallen,” a SAG-AFTRA action-thriller pilot about an unlikely group of high schoolers in the 1980s who struggle to survive as they are caught in the crossfire of two separate groups. Talent, aged 18–25, is sought to play the high schoolers in the group, including Luke, an intellectual loner, and Angelica, the school queen bee. Fight training, athleticism, and flexibility are a plus. There will be a table read the week of May 7 in Los Angeles, with rehearsals starting mid-to-late July and filming in August. “A MAFIA SERIES”
Casting is currently underway for the pilot of a dramatic crime limited series. A male actor, aged 26–34, is wanted to play the lead FBI agent who is working deep undercover in the mafia. Experience with stage combat and ability to speak Italian is a plus. There are also multiple supporting and background roles available for talent, aged 18–51, including the FBI director, a mob wife, and more. The pilot will shoot this fall in New York City.
