Casting is underway for “Amante De Mi Corazon,” a master’s thesis short film about a person’s spirit transitioning into the afterlife. Two actors, aged 18–50, are wanted to play the roles of Marcos and Maria. Rehearsals will take place remotely, followed by filming in late August in the San Francisco, California, area. Pay is $300–$500 per day for three days of work, with travel and meals provided for out-of-state/country talent.

New England-based comedy actors, aged 18–70, are currently wanted for a SAG-AFTRA series of social ads for a major insurance company. There will be a fitting on March 21 for certain roles, followed by filming for all between March 25 and 29. Pay is $783.10 plus 15% if applicable plus usage for approximately five hours of work.

“The Goodmans”
Casting is underway for “The Goodmans,” a scripted series following a family of four adapting to life in a Chicago neighborhood after family patriarch/brother Montrose reopens his family’s camera store in the community he once grew up in. Talent, 22 and older, is wanted for various roles in the series, including the starring role of Montrose. Additionally, production is hiring multiple crew members, including sound and video editors, production assistants, and more. Talent will work in late May in Chicago, Illinois. Pay is $125 per episode for main cast members; all other roles are undisclosed. The crew will make $100–$400.
