Now Casting: Feature Film ‘A Case of Blue’ Is Filling Lead and Supporting Roles + More Gigs

Get fired up for more great gigs with today’s roundup! A sentimental feature film is casting leads, a suspenseful short is filming in New York City, and a parody of public TV is looking to fill supporting roles.

“A CASE OF BLUE”
“A Case of Blue,” a sentimental and strikingly touching feature film, is now casting lead and supporting talent. A male actor, aged 55–60, is sought to play the lead role of Richard Flicker, a kind family man coping with the loss of his wife. There are also supporting roles available for female talent, aged 27–60. The film will rehearse this spring and principal photography will shoot tentatively from July 9–late July in NYC and New Jersey. “THE MONKEY’S PAW”
Casting is underway for “The Monkey’s Paw,” a suspense-horror short film in which three wishes are granted to the owner of a monkey’s paw but with an enormous price for interfering with fate. A male actor, aged 30–35, is sought to play the lead role of Mr. White. Additional talent, aged 18–45, is wanted for several supporting roles, including Sergeant-Major Morris. “LIVIN’ WITH TED”
“Livin’ with Ted,” a short film parody of a public television program, is now casting supporting talent. Actors, aged 18–60, are sought to play three roles in the production, which will shoot April 21 or 22 in Los Angeles. There will be auditions by appointment on select dates from April 1–9 in L.A.
