Now Casting: Be Featured in a Background Role on Season 4 of AMC’s ‘Better Call Saul’ + 3 More Gigs

When the going gets tough, today’s casting roundup has someone you can call. AMC’s “Better Call Saul,” the hit “Breaking Bad” prequel series, is looking for a Latinx actor for a featured background role in its fourth season. Plus, a feature film about a young mother who must find inner strength is casting several roles, a scripted comedy series is casting its leads, and a luxury make-up brand is seeking women looking for a fuss-free cover-up.

Background casting is underway for AMC’s “Better Call Saul,” the prequel series to “Breaking Bad” focused on the trials and tribulations of criminal lawyer Saul Goodman in the time leading up to establishing his strip-mall law office in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A Latinx or Hispanic female actor, aged 21–39, is sought for a background role on the show. Talent must not have any arm tattoos and will need to be available for multiple days beginning May 14 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Some pay will be provided. Apply here!

Join the cast of “Stronger Than Pretty,” a feature film about a young mother whose American dream turns into a nightmare until she learns to listen to her own voice. Talent, aged 18–70, is wanted for several supporting and day player roles in the production, including Lori, one of the lead’s closest friends. There are also roles for young talent, aged 4–17. The film shoots from June 11–27 in Cold Spring Harbor, New York. Pay is $125 per day for union members. Nonunion members will receive a copy, credit, and meals. Apply here!

“The A-Style,” a scripted comedy series, is now casting its four lead roles. Asian talent, aged 35–45, is wanted to play Kevin and Gloria, and talent, aged 18–25, is wanted to play their Generation Z kids, Donnie and Jade. Comedic talent is required for all roles. A luxury make-up brand is currently seeking women, aged 30–65, who have noticed a change in their skin, such as age spots, sun damage, laugh lines, or redness and are looking for a fuss-free cover-up.
