Start your week off right with the great gigs casting today! The Epix series “Godfather of Harlem,” starring Forest Whitaker, is seeking Black talent for background roles. Plus, a Chinese language music video, a series of social media videos, and a mockumentary about Korean pop music are casting.

EPIX, “GODFATHER OF HARLEM”
Casting is underway for the Epix series “Godfather of Harlem,” starring Forest Whitaker. Black talent, aged 18 and older, is wanted for featured background roles in the second season of the series. Dreadlocks, twists, afros, fades, braids, and weaves will not be permitted. Filming will take place in the New York City area, dates and pay TBD. Apply here!

CHINESE LANGUAGE MUSIC VIDEO
A Korean male actor, aged 25–35, that is 5’11”–6’2”, is wanted for the lead role in a Chinese music video. Filming dates are TBD in NYC. Pay is $200. Apply here!

SHORT SOCIAL VIDEOS (SAN DIEGO)
Brainiac is seeking actors, aged 18–32, for short social media comedy and drama sketches. Filming will take place through February 2021 in San Diego, California. Pay is $250 per day with a gas allowance if talent is from out of town. Apply here!

“K-POPPIN’”
“K-Poppin,’ ” a mockumentary-style comedy about Korean pop music, is seeking talent. Asian actors, aged 18 and older, are wanted for supporting and background roles, including members of Winter Solstice, the hottest K-pop group in Los Angeles. Singing and dance skills will be required. Filming will take place over one to three days in May 2021 in L.A. Pay is $100–$500 per day with meals provided. Apply here!
