Now Casting: ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ + 2 More Gigs

Today’s casting roundup has the king of all opportunities. The upcoming Warner Bros. feature film “Godzilla: King of the Monsters,” starring Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, and Kyle Chandler is casting background actors for its July shoot in Atlanta! There are also opportunities for a Showtime series in Chicago and an internal sales video.

The Warner Bros. “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” feature film is currently casting actors for background roles. Male and female talent aged 18–80 are needed to portray pedestrians. The films shoots July 6 and 20 in Atlanta, GA. Pay is $64 for eight hours.

Showtime’s “The Chi,” a series about a young African-American man coming of age, needs several actors for background roles. Male and female talent aged 21–65 are sought to portray businesspeople and bike messengers in the series’ final day of filming. The shoot is June 30 in Chicago, IL. Pay starts at $84 for eight hours of work.

Studio Center is looking for talent for an internal sales video. A speaking role is available for an “Average Joe”-type male actor, ages 30–40. There is also a non-speaking role available for a female actor ages 35–50. Both actors must be able to self-report to Augusta, ME (travel is not provided). The production shoots July 13 for an overnight shoot at a convenience store in Augusta. Pay is $795 for the speaking role and $330 for role for the non-speaking role.
