Casting is underway for the TriStar Pictures romantic comedy feature film “Happiest Season,” starring Kristen Stewart and Mackenzie Davis and directed by Clea DuVall. Talent, aged 18 and older, is wanted to play tour group members, waiters, and other featured background roles. Join the cast of “Feliz,” a play by Michael Mejia produced by the Wayward Artist. White, Latinx, or Hispanic talent, aged 18–75, is wanted for several lead and supporting roles. Spanish fluency is a plus. Rehearsals will begin in March with performances running from April 17–May 1 at the Grand Central Art Center in Santa Ana, California. “MJ THE MUSICAL,” BROADWAY
The upcoming new Broadway biomusical “MJ” is holding an open call for two of its starring roles. Two black male actors, one aged 10 and one aged 18–30, are wanted to play Michael Jackson at two points in his life. There will be open calls on Jan. 25 in Atlanta, Georgia and New York City, and on Feb. 1 in North Hollywood, California. Rehearsals will begin in the spring on dates TBD.
