The stakes are high for the great gigs in today’s casting roundup! Feel the love with your love in the HBO Max streaming series “Vegas High,” seeking real couples for background roles. Plus, a feature film is seeking talent and more gigs nationwide.

“VEGAS HIGH”
HBO Max is casting talent for background roles in its streaming series “Vegas High.” Real couples, aged 18–29, who are comfortable making out on-camera are wanted for a big college party scene. Filming will take place on Feb. 28–29 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pay is $114 for eight hours of work for nonunion actors or the SAG-AFTRA Background rate for union actors. Apply here!

“BIG CITY”
Join “Big City,” a feature film about a local politician who is embroiled in a bigger conspiracy that threatens to consume him. A white male actor, aged 39–50, is wanted to play the supporting role of Special Agent Dickerson. Rehearsals will take place on Feb. 16 or 17 in Chicago, Illinois, followed by filming. “DANGEROUS LIAISONS”
This contemporary reimagining of “Dangerous Liaisons” is casing talent, aged 14–60, for three principal roles in the play. Singing and instrumental skills such as guitar and saxophone will be required for two of the leads. Rehearsals will take place in August, followed by performances in September in New York City. “DISOWNED”
Casting is underway for “Disowned,” a student short film that follows a single father who, three years after the death of his wife, struggles to raise his teenage son. An Asian male actor, aged 35–55, is sought to play the role of Kang Jeong, the protagonist’s father. Filming will take place in mid-March through April in Atlanta, Georgia.
