The HBO series “Real Sports With Bryant Gumbel” is seeking a Central Asian male voiceover actor, age 18–50, for a documentary story piece. Talent will record during the week of Jan. 17. Pay is $1,190 plus 17.1% AFTRA health and insurance.

“Adios, Hannah!”

Join the cast of “Adios, Hannah!,” a short film about three soldiers in Vietnam as they discuss their plans and uncertainties about their futures when (or if) they return home. Three male actors, aged 23–28, are wanted to play the lead roles of Jonny, Alfred, and Smokey. Additionally, a female voice actor with a Vietnamese accent, age 18 or older, is wanted for the titular Hannah. Filming and recording will take place in mid-March in California. Pay is $250–$300 per day for two days of work with meals, transportation, and housing provided.

“Antiques”

“Antiques”, a short horror film, is casting four actors, aged 18–60, for lead roles. Rehearsal, fitting, and filming will take place in early February in Los Angeles. Pay is $100 per rehearsal/fitting day and $200 per filming day.

“Losing Maya”

Casting is underway for “Losing Maya,” a short film that follows a rising painter and his mounting obsession for his work as it fractures his relationship with his conservative Hindu family when he absconds with his lover. Three South Asian or Middle Eastern actors, aged 20–35, are wanted for the starring roles of Ishaan, Maya, and Ashna. Auditions will be held virtually by appointment on Jan. 17, 20, and 24. Rehearsals will take place in late February in California or New York, followed by filming in mid-March in Maine. Pay is $250–$500 per day with travel, lodging, and meals provided.
