Casting is underway for “Edison Reunited,” a 30-minute heartfelt, ensemble-driven romantic dramedy short set in the colorful, chaotic, and culturally rich world of an Indian-American community in Edison, New Jersey, to be used as a proof-of-concept for a full-length feature. New York City-based talent, aged 28–70, is wanted for various principal roles, including the lead role of Johnny Patel. Filming will take place from June 13 to 17 in Edison. Pay is $50–$300 per day with catering and credits provided.

“Glass Tigers”
FUMIFILM is seeking talent for “Glass Tigers,” a short film that will be shot on 16mm film following the reality and resourcefulness of siblings, Shaozu and Jun, whose father (and the rest of the world) seem to have forgotten about. in early-2000s Chinatown, NYC. Three Chinese-American actors, aged 5–49, are wanted for the lead roles of Jun and Shaozu and the supporting role of Lim. Talent must be able to speak at least basic Mandarin. Rehearsals are scheduled for May 8–16, followed by filming from May 16 to 19. Pay is $241 per day with meals provided.
