Wrap up your week with today’s top gigs! A feature horror film is casting several roles, including one of its leads. Plus, an activewear brand commercial, a holiday-themed social media film, and a career training video for a national retail company are casting talent today. 

“The Smile Maker”

Casting is underway for “The Smile Maker,” a feature film that follows a quiet, observant photographer obsessed with perfect smiles who finds creative ways to remove nuisances of his life by using unique ways to manipulate and murder people around him. Actors, aged 18–90, are wanted for various roles, including the lead role of Alisha, a reporter keen on solving mysterious deaths in the building. Nudity/implied intimacy will be required of the lead role. Filming will take place in Jacksonville, Bloomington, and Chicago, Illinois. Pay is $100–$150 per day for up to 15 days of work, with meals and a possible travel stipend provided.

Activewear Commercial

Athletic models, aged 18–39, are wanted for an activewear brand commercial. Talent will work on Dec. 1–3 near Los Angeles. Pay is $500.

“A Messy Christmas”

Join “A Messy Christmas,” a holiday short social media film about the joy in messy Christmas traditions. Talent, aged 5–80, is wanted to portray various family members in the fun shoot, as well as Santa Claus. Talent will work on Nov. 19, 20, or 21 in the Baltimore/Towson, Maryland, area. Pay is $200–$320 for four hours of work.
