Zanning Pictures is seeking talent for a new vertical micro-series. A white female actor, aged 21–35, is wanted for the starring role of Anna, a kindhearted and resilient single mother. Filming will take place internationally in China with arrival scheduled for May 17, makeup and costume on May 18, a table read on May 19, and filming beginning on May 20 in Xi’an City. Talent must speak native-level English with a North American, U.K., or Australian accent. Pay is $4,000 for eight days of work with hotel and travel provided.

“Texas Legacy in Lights”
Texas-based actors, aged 5–50, are wanted for various roles in “Texas Legacy in Lights,” a compelling and emotional retelling of the historic events surrounding the Texas Revolution. Reenactors will need to provide their own period-authentic wardrobe. Filming will take place on June 15 in Gonzales. Pay is $150–1,000 for up to three days of work.

Open Door Media is seeking talent for “Candy,” a short, character-driven drama about a teenage girl drifting through the streets of her city the night before she turns 20. Dallas, Texas-based actors, aged 18-65, are wanted for supporting, day player, and background roles. Rehearsals will take place in June via Zoom, followed by one week of filming in July in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Pay is $200–$100 per day with meals, credit, and a copy provided.
