Save the day in a different way by helping to fill one of the great roles available in today’s roundup! Comedy Central is looking for actors for a parody video of “The Avengers.” Plus, a feature adventure film is seeking lead and supporting actors for a shoot in China, and NBC’s “The Blacklist” and Hulu’s “Looking for Alaska” are casting background roles.

COMEDY CENTRAL DIGITAL - AVENGERS PARODY
Comedy Central Digital is casting a parody of “The Avengers.” Two actors, aged 25–70, are wanted to play a cashier and a robber in nonspeaking roles. The video will shoot on April 17 in New York City. Pay is $350 for the day. Apply here!

“TREASURES OF THE SILK ROAD”
Join the cast of “Treasures of the Silk Road,” an adventure movie about British and Chinese explorers discovering lost relics in North Western China during the late 1800s. A white male actor, aged 60–70, is needed to play the lead role of a British archeologist. Additionally, white male talent, aged 35–50, is needed for supporting roles. Filming will take place from July through December in China. Pay is $600–$900 per day with hotel and airfare provided. Apply here!

NBC’S “THE BLACKLIST”
The hit NBC series “The Blacklist” is looking for background actors for an upcoming episode. Talent, aged 18 and older, is wanted to portray college protestors outside of a presidential debate in which a riot breaks out. Filming will take place at Queen College in NYC on April 22. Pay is $165 for up to 10 hours of work and then overtime after 10 hours. Apply here!

“LOOKING FOR ALASKA,” WAITERS
The upcoming Hulu miniseries adaptation of the John Green novel “Looking for Alaska” is casting Black and Latinx actors, aged 18–35, to play waiters in background roles. Filming will take place from April 25–26 in Mandeville, Louisiana. Some pay will be provided. Apply here!
