Casting is underway for “The Good Lord Bird,” a Showtime limited series about a group of Kansas Freedom Fighters led by an abolitionist and a young slave who travel across the U.S. in the 1850s in an effort to end slavery. A black actor, aged 18–27, is wanted for a photo double. Talent must meet all physical requirements including skin tone, height, build, and hair length.
