Now Casting: Lead Role in the Horror Film ‘The Trophy Hunt’ + 3 More Gigs

The hunt is on for the spots in today’s casting roundup! “The Trophy Hunt,” a horror film about a deadly hunting trip, is looking to fill several lead and supporting roles. There are also opportunities available in a Vimeo live promo, an indie feature film, and on the “Dirty Dancing” national nonunion tour!

Join the upcoming feature horror film “The Trophy Hunt.” The film will center on a married couple that takes their friends from Spain on their first-ever hunting trip, only to run into trouble at the onset. Male and female talent aged 20–60 are sought to fill several lead and supporting roles. Nudity is required for the lead female role. Rehearsals begin in late Nov. or early Dec. with shooting in early 2018 in Los Angeles, CA. TBD pay, copy, IMDB credit, and meals will be provided. Apply here!

Casting is currently underway for promotional material for the launch of Vimeo’s live video offering. Male and female talent aged 30–60 are needed as lecturers. Talent will need to act as if they are part of a live interview and use props provided by the production. There is extremely minimal line delivery and will need to be able to rely on “visual modeling and representing a specific persona.” The production will shoot Aug. 19 and 20 in the NYC area. New cities have been added for auditions on the “Dirty Dancing” national tour. Male and female talent aged 18–35 are sought for the principal roles of Penny, Baby, and Johnny. There are also roles available for ensemble dancers with with excellent technique in classical ballet or modern dance. Partnering skills are required, and training in Latin and Ballroom a plus. There are open casting calls from Aug. 14–18 in Miami, FL, Philadelphia, PA, and Atlanta, GA. Rehearsal and tour dates are TBD. Some pay will be provided. Apply here!

“Confessions of a Graverobber,” an upcoming indie feature drama, is casting a few principal roles. Male and female talent aged 30–80 are need to fill supporting and day player roles in the production. There is also a role available for a young male actor ages 6–10. “Confessions of a Graverobber” will shoot Oct. 15–27 (exact dates vary by role) in and around Birmingham, AL. Pay varies by role with fuel reimbursement/bus travel, lodging, credit, copy, and meals provided. Apply here!
