“STRUTTING AND SWAGGERING”
Independent half-hour comedy pilot “Strutting and Swaggering” is casting actors for several lead, supporting, background, and day player roles. The project will hold by-appointment auditions in Los Angeles on April 8, with shooting slated for the last week of April. Pay will be $150/day for leads, $120/day for non-leading principals, and $60–$75/day for background and day players.
“WE RUN THIS”
Talent is needed for a supporting, background, and day player role in “We Run This,” a cop drama web series. The gig will shoot in April in New York City, Jersey City, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and it seeks local hires only. Pay, meals, copy, credit, and travel accommodations to Pennsylvania will be provided, adhering to a SAG-AFTRA New Media Agreement.
“SPANDEX THE MUSICAL”
“Spandex the Musical” is casting nonunion talent for five leading and seven supporting roles. Auditions will be held by appointment for male and female actors on April 8 in New York City. The production will run May 18–June 11 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and pay $75/performance, in addition to a $500 rehearsal stipend. Travel and housing accommodations will be provided.
“UNTITLED REQUIEM PROJECT”
“Untitled Requiem Project,” a short film intended for film festival submission, is casting actors for multiple lead and supporting roles. The piece will shoot late May in Los Angeles and Mammoth Lakes, California, with compensation set at $125/day. Meals will be provided with the production adhering to a SAG-AFTRA Short Film Agreement.
