LensCrafters “Back to School”
LensCrafters is casting talent for a “back to school”-themed photo and video shoot. Four Los Angeles-based actors, aged 7–44, are wanted to portray a family of four. There will be a fitting on May 1, followed by the shoot on May 2–3 in the L.A. area. Pay is $3,000–5,000 for child talent and $8,000 for adult talent.

“John Is Sad”
Red Octopus Films and RISE Studios are casting “John Is Sad,” a psychological thriller film following a tormented loner with an unknown past who seeks solace in an unlikely connection with his therapist until darkness and obsession unravel the fragile line between patient and captor. Tri-State and New England talent, aged 10–60, is wanted for several roles, including the co-lead Dr. Charlotte Harrington. Filming will take place in July around the Tri-State area. Pay is $250–$300 per day for up to 16 days of work.

“The Bake Off”
“The Bake Off,” a short film following a baker during one high-stakes night as she prepares for the biggest day of her career, is currently casting a female actor of color, age 21–27, to play the starring role of Blue. Talent will work on April 25 in New York City after two rehearsals. Pay is $1,500–$2,000.
