Casting is underway for “Iris,” a historical series that follows an Amazon warrior and librarian whose job is to preserve women’s history and who, after finding out that female historical figures’ names are being erased from the historical record, travels back in time to make sure their deeds are never forgotten. Female actors, aged 18–99, are wanted for the starring role of Iris and the major historical figures she meets in each episode of the international, two-season series, including Frida Kahlo, Nefertiti, Amage, and more. Additionally, production is hiring a cinematographer. Filming will take place over four months beginning in Spring 2025 across 19 locations. Pay is negotiable with flights, food, and lodging provided.
