Lumiere Films is currently seeking three actors, aged 18–65, for “In 5 Minutes,” a short SAG film. There will be an in-person rehearsal for one of the lead roles on April 23, followed by filming for all on April 24–25 in Houston, Texas. Pay is $241–$300 per day for up to three days of work. Travel and accommodation will be provided for the role of May if talent is based in New York City or Los Angeles, but local hires are preferred.

“What We Carry With Us”
Casting is underway for “What We Carry With Us,” a heartfelt coming-of-age drama set about a 17-year-old who inherits their late mother’s struggling diner and must choose between honoring the family legacy or pursuing their own dreams. Actors, aged 16–70, are wanted for lead and supporting roles, including the starring role of Alex. Additionally, production is hiring multiple crew roles, including a director of photography and hair/makeup. Applications must be received by April 1. Talent will work on June 12–July 3 in Fairfield, Connecticut. Pay is $1,000–$3,000 for actors with travel and on-set meals provided and $600–$3,600 for crew.

Major Returning HBO Series, Background Talent
A returning HBO series is looking for background talent. The production wants talent, aged 18–40, to play upscale patrons at a TikTok house party, talent, aged 25–80, to play patrons of a seedy club, plus more. Shooting is this year in the Los Angeles, California area. Talent will be paid $140–$240 per day, depending on union status. HBO series slated to return later in 2025 and 2026 include “Euphoria” season 3, “And Just Like That…” season 3, "Hacks" season 4, and “Industry” season 4.
