MEDIEVAL PERIOD DRAMA
Talent is sought for a leading role in an upcoming medieval period drama series. The project seeks a female actor aged 18–30 to depict a noble. The role will require a British accent and “lots of confidence.” Shooting is set for this fall in Los Angeles, California.
“Z’LECTRIK”
One supporting and five leading roles are sought for “Z’lectrik,” a student film. The project, set in “an alternate 2000 where human memory functions are replaced by special hard drives implanted onto the brain,” will provide meals and transportation. Shooting dates and locations are to be determined.
“(WO)MEN RULE BROADWAY”
A leading role is sought for “(Wo)men Rule Broadway,” a live show in which “women sing and play roles that were originally written for men.” Seeking a female actor aged 18–40, the piece will rehearse Nov. 7–Dec. 12, with a run slated for Dec. 16–18 at the Let Live Theater in West Hollywood, California.
“CHECKING OUT THE ALLEN’S”
Supporting, background, and day player roles are sought for “Checking Out the Allen’s,” an upcoming sitcom. The series, about “an African-American family [which includes] a loving father and his wife who raise their family in a local community,” will begin rehearsals in January 2017, and will shoot Feb. 4–Apr. 29, 2017 in Long Beach, California.
