“Cicadas”
Winsome Films is casting “Cicadas,” a short indie drama about young love and coming of age in rural America. Actors, aged 3–60, are wanted for various roles, including the two lead roles of Averi and Cameron. Filming will take place on Sept. 25–28 in Louisville, Kentucky. Pay is $100–$212 per day with meals provided. Transportation and accommodations will be provided on a case-by-case basis.

“The Young King”
Mile Square Theatre is currently seeking talent for “The Young King,” an interactive/immersive adaptation of the Oscar Wilde fairytale. Four actors, aged 18 or older, are wanted for dual pre-show and show roles. Production is especially looking for talent who can play instruments or who sing folk, but neither skill is required. There will be auditions by appointment on Sept. 20 in Hoboken, New Jersey. Rehearsals begin on Nov. 7, followed by performances beginning Dec. 1. Pay is $435 per week for seven weeks of work.
