Before heading into the long holiday weekend, don’t miss out on your chance to appear in one of today’s top projects. Netflix is seeking talent for various roles in a catastrophe-themed feature. Plus, a five-part miniseries, a digital skincare ad, and a short revenge flick are casting talent now.

“Bridge Collapse: 2035”

Netflix is seeking lead, supporting, and featured background talent for “Bridge Collapse: 2035” (working title), which follows a rookie DMU engineer who uncovers a potentially catastrophic flaw in modern super-bridge construction and her willingness to protect the lives of others at the expense of her own is put to the test. Los Angeles-based actors, aged 18–70, are wanted for various roles, including the lead roles of Ada and Ray. Auditions will be held between Nov. 28–Dec. 1. Filming will start in February with dates and locations TBD. Pay is $340 per day.

“Desolation Row”

Join the cast of “Desolation Row,” a five-part miniseries that mixes a topical family dramedy with a legal thriller. Talent, age 18 or older, is wanted to narrate the project. A table reading will be held on Dec. 2 with filming dates to follow in New York City. Pay is $150 per day for an estimated 10 days of work.

Skincare Digital Ad

Content creators and other talent, aged 18–33, are currently wanted for a skincare ad. Talent will work on Dec. 7–8 in NYC. Pay is $750 with meals provided.

“A Blaze in the Brooklyn Sky”

Join the cast of “A Blaze in the Brooklyn Sky,” a short film about a highly skilled retired FBI agent who goes on a heavy metal-fueled campaign of vengeance against the local mafia that killed her fiancé. Talent, aged 25–65, is wanted for leads and supporting roles, including the starring role of Belle. Weapons training is required for the actor playing Belle. Rehearsals will take place on Dec. 13, followed by filming on Dec. 19 in NYC. Pay is $216.
