“Zero Day” (DC Unit), Drivers With Cars

Grant Wilfley Casting continues to seek background talent for the upcoming Netflix limited political thriller series “Zero Day,” starring Robert De Niro and Angela Bassett. Production is currently seeking Washington, D.C.-based talent with cars (no red/white), aged 25–65, to play drivers. Talent will work on June 15–16. Pay is $208 for eight hours of work plus a $37.50 car bump.

Commercial for RaceDeck Garage Floors

Savvy Studios is seeking talent for a comedic commercial (in the style of Old Spice, DollarShaveClub, etc.) for RaceDeck Garage Floors. Talent, aged 18 and older, is wanted for the two lead roles and multiple other day player roles in the shoot, which will take place in Southern California with dates TBD. Pay is $350–$1,000 per day for up to two days of work.

“The Fossil Bed”

Casting is underway for “The Fossil Bed,” a mystery feature that explores landscape, paleontology, and the human psyche. Actors, aged 18 and older, are wanted for leads and supporting roles. All roles require hiking abilities. Backpacking, swimming, canoeing, and/or kayaking experience are preferred for multiple other roles. Prep and rehearsals will take place in early Summer 2024, followed by filming in September in Eastern Oregon. Pay is $200 per day for up to nine days of work, with travel, food, and lodging provided by the production.

“Waking State”

Join the cast of “Waking State,” a micro-budget mystery/comedy feature about Tommy, a young attorney assistant who discovers a videotape containing instructions to carry out an assassination, leading him on a long night’s journey into the mystery of the victim, the tape’s owner, and his own struggle with alcoholism. Actors, aged 25–70, are wanted for various roles in the film. Talent will work on July 22–27 and July 29–Aug. 2 in Bristol, Pennsylvania. Pay is $216 per day for up to three days of work.
