Brush up on your Shakespeare, because today’s Backstage castings feature roles in a thrilling new film adaptation of “Hamlet.” If ol’ Willy Shakes isn’t your thing, though, we’ve got three other fantastic opportunities below!

Shakespeare never goes out of style. Faust Productions, with director Troy Acree, is currently seeking performers for lead and supporting roles for a roughly 90-minute film adaptation of the Bard’s classic, “Hamlet.” The shoot is scheduled to take place from February through March 2017, in New York City.

Elite Daily’s Rebecca H. is looking for talented male and female actors for “an informative video about how our emotions affect our physical health.” Shooting will take place July 14 in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Feel like traveling a bit? Then this one’s for you! “This Will Be Rejected,” an indie dramedy about four filmmakers (how meta!), is still seeking actors for lead and supporting roles. Filming is scheduled for 20 days in May 2017, in Nashville, Tennessee, various locations in Oklahoma, and New York City.

“Eagle Wings,” a film which will be submitted to festivals internationally, is casting actors for a diverse array of roles. Depicting the story of “two young girls raised in polar opposite social settings,” the flick will star Katie Leclerc of “Switched at Birth” and will be co-produced by “The Goldbergs” actor Hayley Orrantia. Production is set for July 24–30 in New York City and the Jersey Shore.
