Now’s your chance to star as Buddy the Elf—and you don’t even have to be union! There are tons of jobs to apply to today on Backstage!

“ELF,” NON-EQUITY NATIONAL TOUR
Nine roles are being sought for the nonunion national tour of “Elf,” so get your audition material ready! This gig pays $900–$1,100/week, and rehearsals begin in October. Auditions will be taking play July–August in NYC, and even Buddy is being cast!

TV PILOT TEASER
Two roles are being cast for a TV pilot teaser. The teaser will be shot early August in NYC, and this gig pays $500/day. The casting process is slightly unique. On camera you must answer the following question: What would you do if you weren’t an actor? Submissions are being sought from NYC as well.

“OVERDUE”
Five roles are being cast for the feature film, “Overdue,” centered on Carl, a custodian at the Jamestown Library by day, and a self-appointed overdue book collector by night. This production pays $100/day and will begin rehearsal mid-August. Filming will take place in the Illinois/Iowa areas, and talent is being sought worldwide.

APP COMMERCIAL
Talent is being sought from Los Angeles for an app commercial. This gig pays $100/day, plus meals, and talent should be available on July 12 and 13.
