NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINE’S “PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT”
Casting is underway for lead, supporting, and ensemble tracks in Norwegian Cruise Line’s production of “Priscilla Queen of the Desert.” The musical, based on the Oscar-winning film, has bowed on both Broadway and in the West End, and contains disco classics including “I Will Survive” and “I Love The Nightlife.” Contracts will begin in January and run through August 2017, with an itinerary that will include Europe and the Caribbean.
PHARMACEUTICAL SUPER BOWL PRINT AD
A pharmaceutical brand is casting a group of three friends for a print ad. Set at a Super Bowl party, the projects seeks one female and two male actors aged 35–45 able to provide “casual weekend attire that you would wear to a football party.” The gig, which will pay $1,500 for the day, is set to shoot Oct. 24 in Princeton, New Jersey.
“THE ORIGINALS”
Background talent is sought for The CW series, “The Originals.” The supernatural drama seeks male and female actors aged 18–55 who are “physically fit, with a hint of evil in their eyes,” to portray villains. Shooting is slated for Oct. 28 in Conyers, Georgia.
“EVIL LIVES HERE”
Four leading and two supporting roles are sought for an upcoming episode of “Evil Lives Here,” Investigation Discovery’s true crime series. The paid gig will shoot at to-be-determined dates in both the New York and New Jersey areas.
