Now Casting ‘October Sky’ and 3 More Gigs You Can’t Miss!

The Old Globe Theatre needs you for its production of “October Sky” and Elite Daily needs you for its explorative video. There are so many great acting gigs and so little time! Start auditioning now!

“OCTOBER SKY”
The Old Globe Theatre” is currently seeking Equity actors for its production of “October Sky,” set to run Sept. 10–Oct. 23 in San Diego, Calif. Ten roles are being cast for this production, and submissions are being sought from NYC no later than May 20. This gig pays $936/week!

“20’S VS. 30’S”
Elite Daily is seeking 20-somethings, 30-somethings, and extras for a video exploring the differences between the two age groups. The shoot will take place May 13 in Brooklyn and NYC, and the gig pays $200/day for lead roles and $40/day for extras.

“CHECKING OUT THE ALLENS”
Talent is currently being sought for the upcoming spec cable TV series “Checking Out the Allens,” centered on an African-American family in a local community. Fourteen roles are being cast for this production, and auditions will be held by appointment June 25 in Hollywood. This gig pays $125–$350!

“PAINTED”
Two lead roles are being cast for the artistic, character driven, realist film “Painted,” which aims to raise awareness of the plight of millions of Americans. The film follows Naomi, who runs away from home after the death of her mother and is abducted by a pimp and forced into sex trafficking. This production will shoot in Dallas, Texas, and submissions are being sought worldwide.
