Now Casting: A Production of ‘Hair’ Needs its Claude, Dionne, and Other Lead Roles + 3 More Gigs

Follow the wind song and the thunder to your next big gig—a Nebraska production of the award-winning musical “Hair” is casting all lead roles. Plus, Native Americans are wanted for a hit Showtime series, Equity actors are wanted for a spring show in Virginia, and a short film is filling a supporting role. 

“HAIR”
Nebraska Repertory Theatre is casting Equity actors for its upcoming production of “Hair.” Talent, aged 18–30, is wanted for multiple lead roles in the production, including Claude, George, Dionne, and more. There will be an Equity Principal audition on Jan. 10 in New York City. Rehearsals begin on Feb. 26 and the show runs from March 29–April 7 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Pay is $530 per week. Apply here!

SHOWTIME’S “BILLIONS”
Showtime’s “Billions” continues background casting for its fourth season. Iroquois Native Americans, aged 24–60, are wanted to be featured as political aides in the series. Filming will take place between Jan. 8–21 in NYC. Pay is $170 for eight hours for union actors and $143 for 10 hours for nonunion actors. Apply here!

“DADDY LONG LEGS”
Monumental Theatre Company is casting two Equity actors to fill roles in its upcoming production of “Daddy Long Legs.” A female actor, aged 18–25, and a male actor, aged 28–40, are wanted to play Jerusha Abbott and Jervis Pendleton, respectively. There will be an audition by appointment on Dec. 19 in Washington, D.C. Rehearsals will begin on Feb. 11, previews will begin March 7, and the show runs from March 9–30 in Alexandria, Virginia. “BAD DAY SAM”
Join the cast of “Bad Day Sam,” a darkly comic and absurd short chronicling the misadventures of Sam and Maria, two eccentric wisecrackers navigating Los Angeles. A male actor, aged 21–65, is wanted to play the supporting role of a small-time drug dealer.
