Background roles are available on the upcoming feature film “Lazy Susan,” starring Sean Hayes, as well as on the OWN TV series “Queen Sugar.” Plus, the feature film “Aviva” is casting a featured supporting role, and the revival of Nickelodeon’s “Blue’s Clues” is looking for a versatile, charismatic actor.

“LAZY SUSAN”
Nonunion background casting is underway for the feature film “Lazy Susan,” starring Sean Hayes. Male actors, aged 24–68, are wanted to portray Wisconsin police officers. The film will shoot in Long Island, New York, on dates TBD. Pay is $88 for eight hours of work. Apply here!

“AVIVA”
Join the cast of “Aviva,” an upcoming feature film directed by Boaz Yakin. An androgynous Black female actor, aged 30–37, is sought to play the supporting role of Zeke, the lead singer of the band. “QUEEN SUGAR”
Season three of the OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network TV series “Queen Sugar” is now casting background actors. Female talent, aged 17–29, is wanted to play featured background roles as drill team members. The production will shoot May 29 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Pay is $125 for 12 hours of work. NICKELODEON’S “BLUE’S CLUES”
The revival of Nickelodeon’s “Blue’s Clues” is looking for versatile talent for a lead role. A male or female actor, aged 18 and older, who can play 19–25 years old is wanted to play Nikki or Nicky. Talent must be able to connect with preschool viewers and be expressive, charismatic, and have great comedic timing. Singing, playing the guitar, and juggling skills are advantages. The show works from late August through April 2019 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and the production is currently seeing talent from NYC and Los Angeles. Actors will be paid via SAG-AFTRA. Apply here!
