Now Casting: A Popular Netflix Film Needs Background Talent + 3 More Gigs

A popular Netflix film is searching for background talent. Plus, a fall/Thanksgiving photo shoot for a major flower/gift retailer, a GT’s Living Foods commercial, and a self-tanning product promo shoot are casting now.


Casting is underway for the film titled “Rybernia” (which is apparently the code name for Netflix’s “Maestro”). White talent, aged 35–85, is wanted to portray upscale audience members. Talent must meet all physical requirements, including waist size, height, and hairstyles. Fittings will take place on June 28–30 with COVID-19 testing on multiple dates between June 27 and July 5. Filming will take place on July 6–7 in New York City. Pay is $165 for 10 hours of work with a $60 testing stipend.

Fall/Thanksgiving Photoshoot For Flower/Gift Retailer

Models, aged 8–65, are wanted to portray family members in a fall/Thanksgiving photo shoot for a major flower/gift retailer. Talent will work over one day between July 18–22 in NYC. Pay is $1,200 plus 20% if applicable.

Commercial Featurette for a Naturally-Enhanced Water

GT’s Living Foods is now seeking talent for a featurette-style commercial highlighting a naturally-enhanced hydration beverage. Fit and active actors/models, aged 25–35, are wanted for the outdoor shoot, which will take place in early July in Sedona, Arizona. Pay is $500 for one day of work.

Three Asian or white models, aged 18–35, are wanted for a self-tanning product promo shoot. Talent will work on July 12–13 in NYC. Pay is $1,000.
