Now Casting: Pre-Broadway ‘Frozen’ Auditions and 3 More Jobs

Are the lyrics to “Let it Go” stuck in your head? Union talent is sought for the out-of-town tryout of Disney’s “Frozen” musical, which has already announced a spring 2018 Broadway bow. We’ve also got three more fantastic opportunities for you, in case you need some distraction today. See them all below.

“FROZEN”
Telsey + Company casting seeks Equity actors for several roles in the stage adaptation of “Frozen,” which will run mid-August–Oct. 1, 2017 in Denver, Colorado. The production seeks talent for the now-iconic roles of Elsa, Anna, Olaf, and more, and will hold auditions at New York City’s Pearl Studios on Nov. 17 and 22, as well as at Ripley Grier Studios on Nov. 29, also in New York.

“CYCLICAL”
Two leading and background roles are sought for short film “Cyclical.” The piece, about “a quantum scientist [who] struggles to overcome her love for her son in order to save humanity,” seeks female and male talent, both ages 18–40, to portray said scientist, as well as her adult son. Shooting is slated for December or January 2017 in New York City and Los Angeles, California.

“GRUBHUB’S FRIENDSGIVING”
Male and female talent ages 18–30 are sought for an upcoming social media spot. The Grubhub and Seamless project, in which “a group of friends share a meal in one aerial shot,” will shoot for five hours on Nov. 14 in New York City and pay $100.

“LIZZIE”
“Lizzie,” an upcoming feature film starring Kristen Stewart and Chloë Sevigny, seeks talent for two background roles. The piece, examining the 1892 trial of Lizzie Borden, seeks a child actor, age 2, to portray young Lizzie, as well as a female actor aged 25–35 to play Mrs. Borden. Shooting is slated for mid-November in Savannah, Georgia.
