“THE DEUCE”
“The Deuce,” a new HBO series starring James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal, is casting background talent. The drama, set in 1971, seeks male and female talent to portray “upscale, wealthy, WASPy types.” Shooting is slated for Sept. 29 in Briarcliff Manor, New York.
“THE ADDAMS FAMILY” AND “SISTER ACT”
Here’s a two-for-one musical opportunity! Derby Dinner Playhouse, a nonunion dinner theater in Louisville, Kentucky, is casting all roles for upcoming productions of “The Addams Family” and “Sister Act.” The former will run Feb. 6–Apr. 9, 2017, while the latter is set for Mar. 27–May 28, 2017, both in Louisville, Kentucky. A casting call will be held Oct. 10 at New York City’s Pearl Studios.
