Now Casting: Romantic Feature ‘Seven Days of Snow’ and More

Today’s casting notices include two leading roles in “Seven Days of Snow,” a feature film that is equal parts romance and psychological insight. We also have opportunities in a new USA Network pilot and background roles in a forthcoming HBO drama starring James Franco. Check them all out below!

“SEVEN DAYS OF SNOW”
Two actors are sought for leading roles in the feature, “Seven Days of Snow,” depicting “a passionate introvert who has hidden away from the world for too long [and] a calm Casanova who may have met his match.” Seeking a female actor aged 20–35 to play the titular Snow, as well as a male actor aged 23–38 to play Alex, the project will shoot Jan. 29–Feb. 5, 2017 in the northern Wisconsin area.

“THE BRAIN THAT WOULDN’T DIE”
Casting is underway for supporting and background roles in “The Brain that Wouldn’t Die,” a satirical remake of the 1962 film of the same name. The piece, which “follows the misadventures of a surgeon who revives the head of his recently decapitated fiancé to find her a new body,” will shoot Oct. 21–Nov. 11 in Portland, Oregon.

“THE SINNER”
USA Network’s upcoming pilot “The Sinner,” starring Bill Pullman and Jessica Biel, seeks background talent. Casting young actors aged 4–8 to depict the children of a supporting female character, the paid gig will shoot Oct. 18–19 in Cheraw, South Carolina.

“THE DEUCE”
“The Deuce,” a forthcoming HBO series starring James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal, is casting talent for background roles. The drama, set in 1971 New York City, seeks female actors 18 and up to portray “tough/dangerous” female prisoners. Shooting is set for Oct. 13 in New York City.
