In today’s casting roundup, join an upcoming feature film from legendary director Spike Lee, shooting this fall in NYC and Westchester! Also, “NCIS: New Orleans” and “Chicago Fire” are seeking actors for background roles, and a frozen Mexican food commercial needs its dynamic leads!

An upcoming feature film from Spike Lee is currently seeking a wide variety of talent for background roles. A male and female actor, aged 18 and older, are wanted to portray 1970s men and women. There are also roles available for talent who have valid motorcycle licenses and vintage motorcycles, as well as talent with pre-1973 vehicles. The film will shoot Oct. 23–Dec. 14 in Westchester, New York and NYC. Pay will be provided under the SAG-AFTRA Background Contract. Apply here!

Background casting is currently underway for “NCIS: New Orleans,” a spin-off of the long-running “NCIS” that is set in the Crescent City. Male and female talent, aged 10–25, are wanted to portray gutter punks. The production will shoot multiple days Oct. 16–24 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Some pay will be provided. Apply here!

A commercial for a frozen Mexican food brand is currently seeking talent for the production. A female actor and a male actor, both aged 25–36, are needed to fill the lead roles of the hostess and her suitor, respectively. These will be non-speaking roles. NBC’s TV drama “Chicago Fire,” which follows firefighters in Chicago, both on a personal and professional level, is casting background roles.
