A sci-fi feature film is seeking actors for several roles, as well as crew positions. Plus, a #MeToo-themed dramedy, an outdoor lifestyle commercial, and a network TV Christmas movie are casting talent today.

“The Darkest Machines”

Join the cast of “The Darkest Machines,” a sci-fi feature film. Actors, aged 18–65, are wanted for leads and supporting roles in the film. Topless nudity and some special skills, such as martial arts, will be required for some roles. Additionally, the production is hiring crew roles, including a makeup artist, gore effects artist, and Unreal Engine tech. Filming and rehearsals will take place in Burbank, California, with dates TBD. Pay is $100–$400 per day for all cast and crew roles, excluding the gore effects artist, who will be paid a flat rate of $300–$800.

Casting is underway for “Amoriental,” a comedy-drama feature film about an actor who files a complaint with a governmental civil rights agency accusing a movie producer of sexual harassment while the agency’s lead attorney handling the complaint encounters sordid twists, duplicity, and marital meltdown. Actors, aged 18–70, are wanted for various roles in the film, including the starring roles of Starlett, Barry, and Glen. The production is also hiring an intimacy coordinator. Filming will take place in May in New York. Pay is $120–$208 per day for up to 12 days of work.

Outdoorsy and athletic models of all sizes, aged 30–60, are wanted for an online commercial. Filming will take place between April 19–21 in Bozeman, Montana. Pay is $500 per day plus a 20% session fee.

Network TV Christmas Movie

Synthetic International Cinema is seeking talent, aged 11 and older, to portray middle and high schoolers, bar patrons, and more in background roles of a network TV Christmas movie. Filming will take place on March 29–30 and April 3 in New London, Connecticut. Pay is $15 per hour with eight hours minimum guaranteed.
