Casting is underway for “(Un)paused,” a student short film about Henry, a book writer who is up late as he completes the follow-up to a successful book while grieving his late wife. He must choose between his new life and a fragment of his old one. Two actors, aged 20–55, are wanted to play the lead roles of Henry and Susie. There are also supporting roles for male talent, aged 20–50. Filming will take place on March 23–24 in San Diego, California. “Drunk Shakespeare,” the hit Off-Broadway play, is casting its Chicago transfer. Talent, aged 18 and older, is wanted for a variety of lead roles, including the Host, Macbeth, Lady Macbeth, and more. Most actors will be required to get drunk on stage approximately once a week. Excellent comedic skills are a necessity, and puppetry, character impressions, and accent skills are a plus.
