Amazon’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” is currently filming its fifth season and needs background talent. Production wants talent aged 18 and older for various roles. Filming will take place in the New York City area from February through summer. Pay is $182 for eight hours of work (plus a $100 COVID-19 testing stipend) for union actors, and $210 for 12 hours of work (plus an $80 COVID-19 testing stipend) for nonunion talent.

“Light in Us Dark Ones”
Folsheart Productions is casting “Light in Us Dark Ones,” a new narrative drama feature film that follows the life of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s first Black female student. Two actors, aged 18–25, are wanted to play the roles of Val and John. Filming will take place in March and April in Raleigh, North Carolina. Pay is $1,200–$,1500 for 10 days of work, with meals and footage for reels provided.

“Victoria”
Paradise Movies is casting “Victoria,” a new drama feature about a girl with disabilities who gets pregnant at a living facility. Actors, aged 6–60, are wanted for several roles in the project, including the younger version of the protagonist, Ava, and her mother, Mrs. Taylor. The production is also currently hiring camera unit operators. Filming will take place April 24–May 9 in Los Angeles. Pay is $75–$120 per day, with meals provided.
